I wanted to compile a reference for half lives of commonly used steroids. I understand a lot of these half lives are not set in stone, and are influenced by factors like carrier oils, type of injection and individual response to name but a few.

So that this list can be as reliable as possible if you disagree with what I have posted, or I have missed something please comment so that I can edit this post for the benefit of all.

Orals
Anadrol 5-9 hours.
Anavar 8-10 hours.
Dianabol 3-5 hours.
Halotestin 9 hours.
Stanozolol 8-9 hours.
Superdrol 8-12 hours.
Turinabol 16 hours.

Injectables
Acetate 3 days.
Cypionate 10-12 days.
Decanoate 15 days
Enanthate 4.5 days.
Equipoise 14 days.
Propionate 20 hours
Phenylpropionate 36 hours
Parabolan 14 days.
Sustanon 15-18 days.
Stanozolol 24 hours.
Undecanoate 18-23 days. This is open for debate as manufacturers of some products quote up to 53 days.

Nice list, thanks for taking the time to put it together.

I thought Enanthate and Cypionate were pretty much interchangeable and had half-lives that were much closer?

This is why I wanted to open a discussion around this, many sources (reputable) quote enanthate as having a half life of 7-9 days which if true would bring it much closer to cypionate. It can be difficult to come to a consensus with a lot of these compounds.

I went with 4.5 for Enanthate as that seems to be the most accepted number.

Alot of this doesn't look right.
Sustanon has 4 different half lifes.

Prop is around 20hrs which looks right but i though phenylpropianate was closer to 3 days.

I thought decanoate was shorter than Boldenone undecylenate

Also thought cypionate and enenthate were only a day difference too.

Im just pulling this shit out of my ass here so could be completely wrong on all of it.

Love the thread I'd like to see the half life info all in one place like this. Also keen to see the difference with carrier oils too

I have edited Propionate/Phenylpropionate as I have been researching this even after posting. I’m pretty happy with the other stuff but am open to discussions because there really isn’t a lot of consensus out there. If we can get to a final version of the post that everyone is happy with, I’d be stoked 🙏

There is a reason Castor oil is used , it extends half life

Viscosity Ratings (mPa.s) for each commonly used carrier oil at room temperature (around 23.5 Celsius /
74 Fahrenheit):
Castor Oil; 297.0 (Extending the Half-Life of Enanthate, Undecanoate & Keto-Laurate Ester to 33.9 Days)
  • Crambe Oil; 53.6
  • High Oleic Safflower Oil; 41.2
  • Olive Oil; 40
  • Peanut / Arachis Oil; 39.6
  • Sunflower Oil; 37.1

Came here to post this.
Great post @Heavygripper

Always remember carrier oils effect half life.

What are the total elimination periods for each ester, until the metabolites have completely been excreted from the body?

Asking for someone who is subject to full panel drug testing.

It's so variable by person imo I run thru drugs quickly as personally for example eq is like 10 days and I can fEeL the dip as in there's pretty much nothing in the tank, mby 4 days test e etc etc. Blood flow, your own genetics (apparently iirc having it in your blood longer ie dismantling it slower is good genetics according to Dr Dean bc more area under curve or somth if he's relevant) carrier oil, injection site (and how and how much you work it I assume) all affect it.

Honestly it's so variable imo we're better off just going by "short/medium/long" or giving a range lmao.

5.5 half lives generally to eliminate a drug entirely, but metabolites are diff deca can have metabolites 1.5yrs after stopping it ☠️. For some reason 19nors have disproportionately longer lasting metabolites (and thus detection rates).

Thanks for sharing mate! I’ll have to do more research. Until then I’ll keep some fake piss in my car lol.
